Drab pottery mug moulded with circus animals, circa 1850, possibly to commemorate a Royal performance

Queen Victoria invited a range of circus showmen including P.T. Barnum to perform for the royal family at Windsor and Balmoral from the 1840s, this mug is supposed to commemorate those visits.
