The Hirst-Whitley family’s commemorative mug for the fire in York Minster dated 1829

There was a fire in York Minster on Feb. 2nd 1829 and Jonathan Martin, the incendiary was tried on the 3rd March of that year before Mr Barron Hullock and sentenced to confinement during his Majesty’s pleasure.

Condition: Two hairline cracks restored
