Vauxhall or Fulham salt glaze stoneware drug jar or albarello, circa 1725

This is the same shape as London delft drug jars and salt glaze shards of this form has been found in archaeological sites in London. Previous to this one there was only one complete example known which in a private collection. See No. 22 page 55 of English Brown Stoneware 1670-1900 by Adrian Oswald, R. J. C. Hildyard & R. G.
