Card that came with it quotes “This Jug was seen in 2013 by Mr John Allen-Ex head of Royal Albert Museum in Exeter – also President Devon Archaeological Society – He specialises in West Country Pottery. He identified the jug as Cornish  Century Launceston, probably 15th century – he said that to the best of his knowledge this is the only existing complete example”
