Pearlware commemorative plate for the coronation of Queen Caroline in 1820, Gordon’s Bankfoot Pottery in Prestonpans

These plates are a bit of an oddity often said to be made for the royal visit to Scotland in 1822 but Queen Caroline had died in 1821 so I think they were probably made to celebrate the actual coronation in 1820 that Queen Caroline was not attending.
