Rare syphoning pearlware pottery commemorative puzzle jug with blue prints of Napoleon and Wellington under the glaze, circa 1815

I take it that the print of Napoleon is upside down on purpose. The puzzle with this type of jug is to fill a glass with the contents of the jug without pouring. By holding you finger over the hole in the handle and tipping slightly the contents gets syphoned up and down the handle and out through the hole in the base of the jug. Thus filling the glass without pouring.
